Hide or delete a profile
The short answer
Hiding removes the published profile from view. Deleting removes the profile itself. Both can affect cards assigned to it, so review the consequences before confirming.
What to do
- Open the profile editor and choose More.
- Use Hide when you want the published page taken down.
- Use Delete only after checking the warning and affected cards.
- Reassign cards to another live profile if you still want them to open a profile.
Good to know
Cards resolving to an unavailable profile can show a setup page. Hiding a profile is not the same as turning off a lost card, and neither removes information already saved by visitors.
